One of the (very, very) few untainted politicians of the country passed away today. As one of the wise and tremendously fair-minded individuals involved in the drafting of the Constitution of India, his death, at the ripe old age of 98, is a blow to the country that is currently at cross purposes with its own diversity.
Rest in peace, Mr Venkataraman.
